Kurzwell cited a interesting problem in this book, that one day technology will be advanced enough for people to duplicate their brain structures into machines, but would the replica of ourselves, with our own memories and experience, have our own identity? The implication is that people could attain immortality through machines. Ethnical questions aside, I always wonder if people do want to have infinte life span, knowing that the limitation of our lives is exactly what makes life interesting.
