I don't know what to say ahout this book, I just can find one word_powerful. Y It's one of the most powerful book I'v been read.

(Asheville, The Sea)I think 1984 is one of those timeless books that just works in so many situations in politics. I believe it will continued to be referenced and talked about more and more. Thought police takes so many forms in our culture. that Orwell was nice.

(Chengdu)Oh you guys should check out Emma Larkin's "Finding George Orwell in Burma". The author travels through Burma looking for Orwell's roots. The book also gives a good glimpse of the Orwellian Burmese regime.
