We preserve and share the great influence of Morihiro Saito Sensei while remaining faithful to the technical and spiritual heritage left by the Founder of 合气道 Morihei Ueshiba, also known as O Sensei.
Having spent 24 years at the side of the founder, Morihiro Saito Sensei, 9th Dan, is the one who studied the longest under O Sensei's guidance. He was in charge of the founder's Dojo in Iwama (Aiki Dojo) as well as the shrine dedicated to 合气道 (Aiki Jinja) until his passing by 2002.
He was the only true 合气道 weapons specialist and his way of teaching the use of these weapons has become the benchmark for the whole world. Equally an incomparable expert with bare hand techniques, Saito Sensei emphasises the relationship between these two forms of training, respecting as he does the true basis of Aikido created by O Sensei.

His son Hitohiro Saito Sensei is now his successor.

We continually try to improve ourselves through the intensive and systematic practice of kihon , and we believe each training session is a unique opportunity to feel closer to the Founder.

Traditional Aikido includes study by bear hands, japanese sword, stick and knife.
